How can I take out climate control from 2000 civic?
Here's a short rundown:
Take off the gray plastic piece that houses the 12V power source. To do this you'll have to take off the console, the piece around the shifter, the piece underneath the steering wheel, then you can get to it. I believe there are bolts/screws then underneath the gray plastic piece that houses the power source, undo those. Then you should be able to pull the center console out (the roundish black thing that has the radio and climate controls in it. Look around back, and there are 3 screws I think to take off the climate control panel. Sorry if they're sketchy, it's hard to remember what my car was like stock.
Check this out. It's for a radio install, but it's the same thing.
