I just bought a 94 Ex and the door locks only lock when the door is shut. But when the door is open, they go down in lock position but pop right back up into unlock position. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first Honda.

 

that is normal function for power door locks, to prevent people from locking their keys inside......i think

 

I shouldn't have to lock my doors with the key outside the car everytime.

 

^^^hold the handle up (on the outside of the door) and press down the lock stick and all doors will lock. sometimes if you press the switch on the inside of the door with the drivers side door open, all other doors will lock except the drivers door. do what i said earlier and they should all lock.
