What should I do I love my car and I dont want to get rid of it but I keep on having to get this bracket welded on the top and now the bottom of it snapped today, any suggestions?

btw. 90 hondacivic dx w/ b16a hasport mount kit no rust around area at all it just happend I noticed one day the shifter moving exsesivly when floorin it and I looked in the bay and the top of the bracket was moving around I had it welded and it broke than welded than a week later broke no its welded real good up top but the bottom snapped! I am so consernd help me out.

 

same thing happened to me. i made a plate that bolts to the frame rail and welded two ears off of it and it has worked for the past two years. i will take a pic tommorow and post it when it is light outside.

 

are the welds actualy getting penetration...welds might not be good. or do what other guy said and make a plate

 

can you please show me a picture of ur motor mount setup so I can get somebody around here to fabricate something for me.
