Default Kenji ECU question

I want to hook up my wideband to my car just to see my AFR, but I don;t have a secondary O2 bung yet. My question is if the Kenji progran runs closed loop, would the readings be thrown off ot throw a code if I left my O2 hanging while I put the wideband O2 in the bung?

If the program runs in closed loop, it will code. It will also throw off the A/F a bit as the ECU will not be able to use the 02 sensor output to fine tune the mixture. You should be able to get a rough idea of where the A/F is though.

Thanks.......I've been wanting to check my AFR because I have a feeling I am running extremely rich with this program.
