spark plugs are white
I checked out my plugs the other day and they were burnt white.... MOtor is an obd-0 b16a, aebs IM, hondata gasket, 2.5" cat and exhaust. I just installed gsr cams the other day as well.
Now this motor has always run towards the rich side if anything. Then the other day i noticed the plugs were burnt white... installed the cams with new plugs and a week later they look the same. (I took a few pics but coudlnt get a decent shot) Also worthy of noting, i replaced my very low exhaust manifold recently with one that yielded 3 more inches of ground clearance. I couldnt afford o2's at the time, and used the o2s in teh "newer" manifold. I plugged in the first o2 and hardwired the secondary back up....
Does this mean my motor is running lean? or hot? What could be causing this?

TOO HOT
Symptoms: Blistered, white insulator, eroded electrode and absence of deposits. Results in shortened plug life.
Recomendations: Check for the correct plug heat range, over-advanced timing, lean fuel mixture, intake manifold vacuum leaks, sticking valves and insufficient engine cooling.

Same plugs / gap i've run for years. My coolant temperature is always right on, but could i still have coolant issues?
I gotta look into my a/f mixture...

A/F mixture lean.
I know on 2 strokes this is very dangerous, and it can be for 4 cylinders as well. I havent looked into it as much.
Combustion temperatures are too high, they must not be too low, or not to high. The engines cooling system will still cool these down. But at the exact time the spark ignites this cannot be cooled before it causes problems.
Remember when things get hot they expand, too much expanding is bad.

and check your fuel pressure
and check your fuel pressure
Are you burning any oil ? after 10 years I still have trouble diagnosing, but after one week 200mi ? I would look at lean condition, burnt valves are bad.
with oil burning you see heavy white deposits.
