Default Sealing / Finnishing a paint job

k, once again this should probably be in A&C but i cant post there

anyways, What would u guys suggest to Seal my painted rims? the clear coat gave it an awsome finnish and looks like the factory rim BUT it seems like it will be scratched easilly, is there anything i can put on the rim to keep it from getting scratched and scuffed easilly?

haha nah, the rim is kinda messed and the tire wouldnt hold air, so i just put it on to take a pic and then took em off.

put a rim clear coat i think if you go to autozone or whatever they have a clear coat made for rims and it is hella hard

what would be the canadian equivalent to Autozone? the clear coat i got is from canadian tire and is for rims, but doesnt seem scratch resistant enough

homepainted rims scratch easily, thats their downfall.

factory painted rims are powdercoated, its tough as nails.

my rims were painted about 5 months ago by my dad .. silver with clear coat... no scratches... still look hella good.

good to know honda95civic, i havent put mine on yet but i did a good job with the clear coat etc. so as long as i dont curb em, should eb good

yea... ull be fine. just drive the car like u normally do and watch out for those curbs. i wash them once a week with soap and water.. sometimes wax.. and they are fine.
