I'm planning to use BLOX Turbo Cams with my setup. Anyone else using these? Give me some input.

Last time i was at Redzone they were talking about them
herd they make good power
they are trying to do some dyno test on them, good cheap cams

looks good

 

i havent seen any info. on these cams. are they new cores? or grinds? whats the price range?

 

new cores. made same place skunk 2's are i believe.

 

Anyone know if these require upgraded Valvetrain?

 

I have heard from Omniman they are good cams, I dunno if they have turbo grinds or not yet. They have grinds similar to a JUNIII or Skunk2 Stage 2 I believe.

most all cams that have either bigger lift/duration or more aggresive ramp angles will need upgraded valve train.

on a side not, do you work for pro street in sales?

Not Gude cams he PROFILES them to work with your stock valvesprings! LOL! I guess that is why my old LS rocker arms ripped out of the head three times! OOPS. Just a joke.

 

I am mistaken I see they have turbo cams. My bad, no experience yet with them.

never seen too much info on em....

 

They're pretty new, so you will have trouble finding anybody with good solid experiences with them. I'll admit, their stuff does look pretty decent though.

 

Getting my BLOX Turbo cams soon. These cams look pretty promising.

I got a chance to take a look at their Manifold and Cams, and they look real nice.

 

Got the BLOX Turbo Cams today. High lift, Low duration.

You should pick these up as soon as you can, cuz word has it, BLOX is bumping up the price after its introductory sale.

Camshaft Design Types:

Tuner Series – Uses OEM camshaft lobe designs, with Blox profile specifications.


- Type A: Okay to use with factory valvetrain components.
- Type B: Strongly recommend using with Blox dual valve springs.
- HSL (High Speed Lift): Must use with Blox dual valve springs and Ti retainers.
- Turbo: TBA


Competition Series – Cast with wider primary and secondary lobes, with Blox profile specifications


- Type B: Strongly recommend using with Blox dual valve springs.
- Turbo: TBA
- HSL (High Speed Lift): Must use with Blox dual valve springs and Ti retainers.
- Race: TBA
- Custom – Semi-blank cores, available in Tuner or Competition lobe designs.
