Ignition 1 or 2 pulse

Ignition 1 or 2 pulse
I have a 99 civic si and i was wondering if the ignition is 1 or 2 pulse cause i dont know what 2 wires to cut on the back of the tach which is a 5 inch auto meter phantom. on the directions it says for a 4 cyl. (2pulse) clip blue wire loop and then it says 4 cyl. (1 pulse) clip brown and blue. thanks
