Default How does the ARC intake compare to others

I was just wondering if anyone has any pics of it, i was quoted $700 for one, and i was wondering what makes it so much better than rest, just wondering what the HP/TQ differance is, and acc. time.

Too expensive for many people's tastes
Haven't heard any numbers on it, but if I were you I would just go with the Comptech Icebox, or the DIY Icebox, and go spend your $700 on some suspension parts!

Lightweight, better throttle response, and u don't lose low rpm torque is the advantage of having ARC super induction system. And everything is handcrafted made it so expensive I think.

If it's not good u won't see lots of ppl using them on their Lancer EVO, Skyline
GT-R, Civic, Integra, S2000 in Japan. It's not a thread only but ppl love the quality ARC provide.

Well....I'd love to see the Mugen tested if possible. I wish I had one to donate you... Also, maybe that new K&N direct replacement filter E-2427 vs. the stock paper filter and the Comptech foam filter

J's Racing Intake
Good idea forgot about that one

K&N Drop in can be done as the test car has one in now, Mugen I would love to test but Im not going out to buy one just to test anyone have one to donate for a few days? Injen if someone wants to send one this way ok, but I've seen enough tets where it has about 1-2hp more throughout over the AEM so Im not so concerned.

I don't blame you for not wanting to spend $650 to conduct the test . I wish I had one to send you Mike, but I don't. There has got to be someone on that side of the U.S. with the Mugen intake!! (PLEASE! )

[edit]Didn't White Dragon just install one?![/edit]
