Default OBD1->OBD0 Z6 Intake

Hey

First post here, been a lurker for a while now. I've got a 1990 DX Hatch, with a Z6 head going on it, and I picked the Z6 intake as part of the deal. I know I will have to convert to OBD1 if I keep the intake as is, and all the OBD1 sensor's on it, so my question is, is it possible for me to just swap all the necessary sensors from an OBD0 intake, and remain OBD0. All that would be left for me to do then is the DPFI->MPFI swap, which I am much more confident I can do, as opposed to the OBD0->OBD1 swap.

Anyways, any comments, suggestions would be nice, and hey if you've got the parts I'd need to do this, let me know TIA

Just swap over the injectors, and throttle body, all of the other sensors are the same. I know this because I have done obd0-obd1. I'm auctually running OBD2 manifold, with obd1 injectors and computer. So pretty much everything is the same except for the injectors and dizzy. Wooo Hooo, 1000post!!!

So save I'd need the injectors, and TB from an OBD0 manifold, and I can just stay OBD0?

The TB from an D series OBD0 IM will not work on an OBD1 IM. You can use all the sensors from the OBD1. Just treat it as an OBD0. BUT the injectors are the "tricky" part. OBD1 DOES NOT need the injector resistor box. You can use OBD0 injectors if you have them.

My question for you is. What injectors do you have?

Lucky me, I have no injectors right now

I have a total, complete OBD1 manifold, with the TB and all sensors, which is goin on my DX, so I'm gonna assume that the Z6 TB will work for me if I'm staying OBD0? Also, what injectors should I be getting if I'm staying OBD0?

I remember trying this myself with my Z6 swap. I tried using the z6 mani with the OBD0 throttle body. I think it had something to do with the fitment of the bolt holes for the throttle body along with some other holes that did not line up. I then compaired the A6 to the Z6 and it didn't look like it would be all that much better so I stuck with the A6 mani.

The Z6 also seems to have extra vacuum lines coming out also and a different sensor on the back that my A6 didn't have (I forgot what it was though).
