Semi OT: cool resource for DIY types

It isn't exactly "cheap", but not too bad if you're ordering in quantity. There have been a few times when I could really have used something like this.

I downloaded their little CAD system - it works pretty cool if you understand the concepts - and used it to sketch the piece of sheet that I needed to cover my sunroof. I then had their system bid it and it came in at $163 (for quantity = 1). A local sheetmetal fab shop made it for me for $90.
Now, some of you are going to think that $90 is a lot to pay for a hunk of 20 ga. sheet but I have a total of 40 minutes into drawing it, faxing the drawing to the shop, and picking it up. I wouldn't even have known where to start looking for metal here in my new town, without Seattle's Metal Shorts...
If a person had a brainstorm and wanted to spool off a short batch of parts, this online gig might actually make sense but he would REALLY need to have confidence in his CAD skills. (Not to be confused with MAD skilz.)
