I have a 88 crx dx, i did a swap to a b16a about 3 months ago. I love my crx, it's got good handeling and it's small so it's easy to weave in and out of traffic. They can do a u-turn whare most other cars can't. They are also very reliable, mine had 250,000 miles on the stock engine when i swapped the engine out. They get great gas milage and there are tons of aftermarket stuff out there. They are also pretty cheap to fix if theres a problem.

The 88 rear LCAs are the same as an ITR.

 

Man, CRX's are the lamest cars around! What were you thinking??? They're too small, loud, noisy, old....I hate em! but I just had to own one. On a serious note, when the new Mini Cooper came out I wanted one but remembered the famous old school cult-classic CRX. With a swap, it's just as fast as a Cooper S but about 1/4 of the price!

Well let's see, you're on a CRX enthusiast/tech forum. I'm sure everyone here hates them and can't wait to get rid of them.

Seriously though, just spend some time here, and spend some time with your car, and chances are, you'll probably start to agree with most of the people on this site that the CRX was one of the best cars Honda ever produced.

What do you mean girls cant stand them? I havent met a girl yet who didnt like my car (sure they say its a bit loud and uncomfortable.. too low) but they all think its "cute"

the CRX is Honda's true cult car. i will always own my rex. my grandpa always calls it a "sports" car which cracks me up.

I love my crx i drive it about 70-100 miles a day my girl hates it with a passion but she likes my S2K so i got her covered! the crx is actually just as much fun as my S2K to drive but just in a differnt way ya know?

Yeah, Chicks dont like my car either.. For some reason they get really scared when im boosting in 4th all the way to red line and shift into 5th and still keep gettin it..

What kind of "girls" are you talking about?
Are you talking about the girls that prefer an H2 on 26" wheels or a girl that wants a Bently with a diamond studded dashboard?

Most <U>women</U> (not girls) that I know just like a car that is very clean, very reliable, and has a full tank of gas. If it looks hot then it's just a bonus. It's pretty easy to make a CRX look hot.
