Old gas and clogged injectors???
When I finished my H22A EG swap, I ran a tank of 2 year old gas through it. Now, if I drive my car for any decently long period of time, shut it off, and then try to start it again...it won't start. If I wait for around 15 minutes, it'll start again with no problem. Could my injectors be fuc*ed? Thanks
yes
then again it could be your main relay or a lot of other things...
get some fresh gas in there first though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes all those exclamation marks are necessary!)

I've ran about five tanks of 93 octane V-Power through my car since that old gas, but I still have that starting problem. Oh yeah...the car seems to start more quickly if I hold the gas pedal down when I crank it.
I really don't want to have to buy new injectors...especially since the H23A injectors are slightly different from the H22A injectors. Any suggestions?

so you have an H23?
they're the same size as the other B and D series injectors. 245cc.
try tapping the injectors with 12volts to open them up a little. DO NOT hold them open with 12volts though, as you can quickly damage the driver that way.

I have the JDM H23A...not the USDM H23A1. The injectors from the H23A seem to be the same as the H22's, but they look more "modern." There are only slight differences, but I believe that they are the same size...

Go to your local automotive parts store and talk to them about the BEST injector cleaner, and pour in the whole bottle on a full tank of NEW gas. I had a problem on my wifes 1997 Chrysler LHS (S/B POS!) acting up, and I poured in a brand recommended by the parts store (Bumper to Bumper) and it cleared it up in that one tank.
May not solve your problem, but it is a cheap and easy place to start.

Also, try turning your key to the "On" position and letting the fuel pump cycle for about 5-8 seconds, then go ahead and start her up.

i see. my mistake.
i'm not 100% sure if bad gas itself could have screwed the injectors up but, gas that has been sitting as long as your has may have been contaminated with water. that may have messed them up.
you should have siphoned out the old gas through the filler or disconnected the inlet line running to the fuel rail and let the pump drain the fuel into a bucket by switching the pump on and off a few times. not too good for the pump though.

ok i dont want to say this is 100% safe but i did it numerous times with exc results so take it for what it is i took all the injectors out got some spray fuel injector cleaner and a 9 volt battery got some wire and put a momentary switch in bettween the +wire and the+ side of the injector and connected the - side of the injector to the - sideof the 9 volt now with the jet sprayonthe can of injector cleaner stick it into the in side of the injector and hit the momentary switch and the cleaner at the same time in bout 4 second intervals( wear eye protection when doing this it will go in yopur eye) i put a white towel on the floor in front of the injector to see what came out and to watch that the spray pattern was come out write
