Default Stripping paint...

Woohoo...I finally found these obscure rear speaker pods at the boneyard for only $5, with the wire extensions. Except they sprayed a thick coat of red paint on the plastic. What's the best product to use to strip the old paint off w/o damaging the plastic? If worse comes to worse, I guess I can strip the old paint, prime it, then repaint it flat black.

Didn't think I would ever find them. Ahh...now my life would be complete with a set of factory floor mats.

First I'd just try a simple rubbing alcohol.

I did some research...gonna try some brake fluid to dissolve the paint. Hope the plastic doesn't melt.
