Fluctuating Idle
When I start my car the RPMs go from 1000 to 2500 to 1000 and repeats. It will do this for about 20-30 minutes before it goes away. I put a jumper in the check engine light circuit and it flashed 14 ... IAC Valve ... so I replaced the IAC Valve and it is still happening, the check engine light still blinks 14. I hear a whistle coming from my car when I accelerate and was told that it was not loud enough to be a intake leak ... while a buddy of mine said that for sure it was an intake leak. My car also, jerks like it is stalling ... would be the best way to put it, when I accelerate into higher RPMs ... usually after 3000 RPMs ... my tachometer also jumps wildly when the RPMs are higher than 3000. I noticed the other night that if I am using my cruise control, I can accelerate much faster than if I use the gas petal without getting the jerkiness or the whistling sound ... the RPMs still jump around though.
I replaced the IAC Valve ... I have a spare intake manifold that I can replace mine with but would like to know if there is anything that I can do first ... so I do not have to mess around with a half-engine swap to get the thing out.

Could also be air trapped in the cooling system. Remove your radiator cap and let it sit open for 10-20 minutes to let all the trapped air rise out of the system.
Your IACV filter screen may also be dirty and clogged.

yeah its either the THOTTLE POSITION SENCOR or the FAST IDLE VALVE...some times you have to clean the tps on the inside of the thottle body and some instances you have to replace the TB...thats my guess

Ya thats what was wrong with my accord, it would 'search' for an idle speed, it was set too high. I just turned the screw back and brought the idle speed to about 750 rpms, fixed it right away.
