hahaha, while shes showering or something take hers so that she cant yell at u for losing yours...anyways, it depends on the year of your accord, if its 90-97, i believe its similar for these years, there are like 4 or so screws keeping it in and then it is attached to the shifter center piece by little clips that you just kinda need to wiggle out, i'm not sure if that will help you so much though, there are only 4 17mm (i think) bolts holding the seat in, if you undo those and slide the front seat as forward as possible you would have more room to look around and pull up the carpet a little bit just in case it slipped under

If you have a 94-97 Accord you need to empty out your arm rest and at the bottom pop out the plasic piece what is covering two phillip heads screws. Remove those and slide back+up the armrest and you should see the ring if thats where you dropped it.
look for screws in and around your center console, after those are out try and pop the clips apart... then you can start unclipping and unscrewing other stuff until you get to where you need to be.
I THINK.
its really hard to break anything major by tearing apart your interior so just go to work.

These are the instructions for installing a trunk mounted CD changes, pages 6 through 8 talk about dismanteling the center console.

You know, when someone doesn't give info on what year, trim, and tranny their car is they get flamed outta their mind. Yet when some one does give it (right in his post) no one pays attention and goes rambling on about '90-97' Accords

first thing you can try is to pull out the cupholders. grab the lid to the cup holder and pull up hard. it just snaps in, no screws. this will allow you to peek under the e-brake, so you might not have to pull off the rest of the center console.
i can't remember where all the screws are that hold down most of the center console. when i get back to my car, i'll put it all off real quick and let you know.
EDIT: nevermind... i'm blind... i just saw Heat's post with the instructions...

i have a 98 and when i dropped something down there i couldn't see anywhere to get it out. i got pissed and just pulled the cup holder really hard...and the cupholder actually is designed to pop out with a little pull. just pull from the inside of the cup holder and not the trap door. good luck
this saved me from having to unscrew and dismantle everything

I've got a 02. it's easy, there are no screws on the plastic pannel where the cup holders and ebrake are. U just pull it up. There are screws up by the pocket under the radio & inside the arm rest. If it slid any further, you will need to possibly remove a seat or two to get under the carpet

yeah i read it, he said 02, so thats still 6th gen correct?
also ASIDE from my cupholders pulling out, theres a flap at the bottom of my center console. with a screwdriver you can pry it up...again saving you the trouble of unscrewing everything.
but if the interior of the 02 is so much different then i guess this is unapplicable.
