strange plug on y8 motor, maybe you can enlighten me...
i just picked up a y8 and on the alternator corner of the motor, down where the oilpan meets the bottom of the block, there is an electrial plug. Its square and has 3 wires about a foot in length encased in a wire loom. I dont think my stock motor (91 civic dx) had a plug like that, do i just cut it off. When I obd1 swap the car for the new motor will it be searching for that sensor, if it is a sensor? Thanks.
heres a little pic to help you guys understand what i mean

sorry the pics so small, photofucket resized it

Like this?

It's the Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor.
Only used on OBD II.
Remove it, or don't worry about it.
