Best turbo manifold for b series????
I am lookin to turbo my b18c1 in my 94 cive dx cpe. I am trying to find a manifold but with so many horror stories on ones cracking on me. I don't know what one to buy. I have seen some on ebay for as cheap as like $200 but some as much as $400-500. What is a good company to stick with and where can i find one to purchase?
Taken from the f/i sticky:
WHAT MANIFOLD?
There is also so much information on manifolds. No "which manifold is better" post. Again, so much info on this. No more BS about company x vs company z. If you dont have something technical to add to the post, be it a question, affirmation, answer or comment, then keep it to yourself. Use your good judgement...if its been covered a thousand times, it probably isnt worth posting. If its a new manifold, a new theory, a new thought, a specific comparison, etc, then it makes sense.
do a search, also if u look in the f/i sponsors section they sell all different kinds of mani's with and without crackin warrentee.

For under $500, I would get a inline-pro or rev-hard. You could probably get the manifold and downpipe for around $500. Lots of people are making great power on these. I made 446whp @ 21lbs on rev-hard manifold using a sc-61.
two things to consider when choosing a manifold
1) price
2) what is the intended use?
If you are on a budget, get a lower priced manifold, like a cast unit. If you are trying to make a LOT of power, and are looking to go as fast as possible, there are many different tubular designs out there... you really need to figure out what your plans are for the vehicle.
