just looking out for the noob

the s2k forum is slow to move , so if you would have searched, you would have not had to create a new thread

Whats wrong with creating a new thread? It keeps the forum interesting.

you might want to check out comptech. They make good stuff. Its pricey but if you are going to drive a nice car, you gotta get the good parts.

I don't believe that there are any aftermarket intake manifolds available for the S2000. A member on here is developing a carbon fiber manifold however, but it is not yet available for purchase.

As for an intake, if you want the most power with the biggest risk, go with AEM. If you want good power with no risk, go Comptech.

Well, people tend to suggest better parts when turds, such as the PRM intake, are asked about.

PRM sucks. Only makes noise and nothing else. Worst intake ever for the S2000. You've gotta be a moron to buy that over other intakes.

ITB's are a waste of money. Its been proven by a s2ki board member. After a load of tuning... it barely achieves any hp even in the midrange for the price.

negative. Those were those ITB's. Wrong length and volume. That's why it didn't make any power.

check the thread linked above, I updated it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by PNB &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I don't believe that there are any aftermarket intake manifolds available for the S2000. It is now, but I'm not developing it, a company is. I'm just trying to figure out how much whp can be acheived with exterior engine part bolt-ons

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SpeedXRacer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ITB's are a waste of money. I would say they are a waste of $$$ for street driven cars. As for track only cars, ITB's are still a waste of $$$ until further testing can be done on them with properly tuned runners, t-body sizing, and a lot of dyno time + more dyno time. That still doesn't take into account a plenum for the ITB's nor an air intake system other than nice hot engine air. I don't think anyone wants a giant hole in their hoods or anything sticking out and atop the hoodline.
