Default NSX Parts from Japan, How to Get?

Here's the dealio, I just picked up two NSX specific Japanese books (one of them is a Hyper Rev. #93) and I'm jonesing for some of the parts they show in there. Specifically:

1. Flat Out GT Gusset - very cool rigidity and stiffness enhancer
2. Super Private - another cool rigidity device that looks like it it goes between the two bars of the battery tray.

I did a Google search, a look through listed websites in the book, and a few other websites and found zilch. Well, that's not true. I did find some stuff and but not what I was looking for.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

FWIW, anyone with an NSX needs to get this Hyper Rev. It's a catalog of aftermarket parts galore. Highly recommended.

You could try asking Science of Speed. They can probably get a lot of them for you.

If that does not work, you can also try Taka Kaira (based in Japan). It looka like they offer Advance, which I assume is the company responsible for the Flat Out line of products.

That's some nice looking stuff!

PS: Be sure to pick up the throttle body kit and some camshafts while you're at it.

Taka Kaira is who I use.

If they don't have it, you don't need it.

You are going to get kicked in the nuts with shipping those things, the rear glass will be impossible (unless thrown in with a container) and those Gussetts will probably be $160-200 for ground shipping. (1-2 months time)

Ganbatte kudasai

They look nice though.

I rarely visit the NSX forum; but if you need any info you can IM me...

I suggest you contact Advance directly; would probably be a huge help if you had someone make the initial inquiry in Japanese for you. Tell them you are prepared to make payment in Japanese Yen via intl. bank wire - that is a prerequisite if you are serious about purchasing.

Okay smarty pants, how about locating a online pic of a Garage Defend GT Cooling Panel? Or how about even just an online description?

Nevermind. Found it. And at $248, not too shabby price-wise either. Well, comparatively speaking.

Linkage: http://www.takakaira.com/aerok...cat=2

But...considering shipping charge, wire transfer fee or credit card 3% charge, and the time value of money (yeah, that's BS), it seems
the Phase version is looking better all the time.

I've been to that direct link but they don't list the NSX cooling panel. Unless it's in Japanese and I just can't read it.

My bad, it's on their ad in Option but not in the website.
