quik ?'s about pistons size
i took my je pistons out of my block i looked underneath the pistons to see the size and it said 83m i want to know if this is the size i want to know if it is how is it possible to have 83m when a b20 is 84mm
Your right it is not possible. I am assuming maybe the 83mm measurement is taken inside the piston from skirt to skirt rather than the overall width of the piston.
The 83m does not mean that the pistons are 83mm bore. My old JE 84mm pistons had 83m stamped on them too. It's just a casting number.
thanks
