Bosch O2 sensor life

on average on a stock D15b2 how long will a Bosch O2 sensor last me? I've had one now for under a year and its giving me a code 1. Is this common for a Bosch if so what are some affordable alternatives? thanks

They should work fine until you change it @ 50k.

Is that when you are suppose to change the O2 Sensor? after 50K?

Around 50k - 70k. IF you are getting bad gas milage, change it sooner.
