I called up my dealer and asked them if they sell the helm's manual and they said they only sell the Factory Manual, which costs $126 CAN, around 80 US. I thought the dealer use helm's. Or they are blowing smoke (as usual) and aren't aware that they are using helms?

the dealer here uses the helms.. i don't know about other places.. Just get the helms.. its cheaper too. around 70 bucks or less i believe shipped.. i don't remember off top of my head the price anymore.. its been a while

The factory manual is published by Helm, Inc. There's only one manual. In other words, THEY'RE THE SAME THING.

CAD $126 for the original factory manual? That's a good price. I got the Helm's for around CAD $120 when shipped from US.

About the difference between the Factory and Helm's, the content is exactly the same, but the quality of the PAPER is different. The Factory uses thicker better quality paper while Helm's uses thinner ones. I'm sure about this because I have the Helm's and my mechanic has the Factory. I compared them side by side. Not that it's a big deal, but if the price is the same, then I would get the Factory.
