Default 1/4 mile time?

I have a 91 ls/vtec with jdm j1 b16 tranny and brand new clutch. I raced with the stock ls and slippin clutch a month ago and ran 16.2. Any thoughts on what i might expect to run in the quarter mile. Thanks for the input

there's only one way to find out, take it to the track. every motor is different and built differently.

hey bigger moron, he is trying to get a feel for how fast his set-up should be so he'll have something to compare it to. if all you intend on doing is flaming someone, go to a v-8 site. you'll have plenty of flaming to do there. what an *******!

If your running intake, header, exhaust, a set of cams, -all with your ls/v you should be cutting short 14's. If it isnt breathing, you are cutting at least mid 15's

I have 89 std hatchy with a few low buget racing parts like a b16a3, 93 gsr tranny coldair intake, custum headers, and an exhaust made at a muffler shop I ran a 14.7 in the 1/4 mile I think the problem wouldn't be the car but more of the driver. If you take it out dont just try it once. With a ls-vtec on a 91 crx or hatchy you should run very low 14.00 or even close to high 13.9.Just remember to take out all that specker stuff before you go to the race track.lol

Low 15's high 14's.

Spark plug wires aren't a bolt on? Wow, thanks for the heads up.

Intake, skunk manifold, crappy DC 4-1 header w/ huge flat spot, test pipe, WS cat-back, OBD1 conversion w/ skunk chip, exedy stage1 clutch, act streetlight flywheel, CTR crank pully, no a/c and p/s, kyb AGX struts w/ ground controls, and azenis for the tires. and then like plugs and wires. that was about it i think, stock internals of the engine and trans.
