Best way to remove OEM pedal covers
Like I said, What's the best way to remove the OEM rubber pedal covers on the pedals?
I've got an Idea'r and need to remove the cover's first.
(either heavy-duty rivet some pedals made from CF sheets and grip tape, or just some grip tape on the metal pedals)

im not sure if thats how the Auto ones come off, but the manual ones are just held on by the little lip of the rubber pad.....
i got some Razo pedals (they were a xmas gift from a buddy)....carbon fiber w/ rivets, and an extra lip on the brake and gas pedal, so my big clumsy feet can heel-toe easier when im in the winter dorifito driving mode

Thats what I figured...but has anyone removed them and put them back on? That's what i'm really wondering about is if I do remove the, how hard is it to get them back on?

removing takes about 2 seconds each, putting them back on, another 5 seconds....but once again, thats only for the manual.....

Remove by pulling, install by pushing. The pedal covers have a lip that covers the metal part of the pedal and is very easy to remove/install. I got a set of MOMO pedals installed, except the throttle pedal since it's a solid piece of plastic that I couldn't remove, nor I tried very hard.
It shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes, beer brake included.

yes, i have. they are really stiff and sort of a pain, but it is a simple process. if you can get one corner off, the rest are easy. but that first corner, especially on the brake pedal are a PITA.
now, the gas pedal is another story. that one has the cover molded onto it i think. i couldn't get mine off. maybe try an Xacto knife (if you don't want to keep it) because when i drilled for my new pedals, it is just a rubber cover over a metal pedal (like the brake pedal). but i don't know if it comes all the way off. i do not believe that it does.
that what you're looking for?
