2000 PRELUDE ECU
2 quick questions:
What is the name on the ECU for a 2000 Prelude? ( P13? )
Can the ECU from any 97-01 Prelude (Base model, manual trans) work with the 2000 engine?
(I did do a search on this and couldn't find the answers and I apologize if this is an extremely low-tech newbie question)

essentially, you answered your own question. Its an ECU for a 97-01 Base Manual, obviously it will work for a 00 motor. I belive the ECU is a P5P for base.
P5M for non SH models. I believe P5P was for the Type SH.
As to whether or not it can be used... Well I have heard that some vapor sensory equipment in the fuel tank was changed in 1999, so what people have said is that when using an earlier ecu on a later model engine, they do sometimes stall when the fill up the tank. After that they don't stall again, but the first time starting after filling up, sometimes it happens.
BTW, I do have a couple of manual ECUs for sale. (check my sig)
