ok i cant figure out how the hell the hatch supposed to close , i dont see a latch or anything like that , instead there are 2 bolts , this is supposed to be for a 94-97 DC2 , the part number on the hatch is 97INT2

it looks like you have to transfer your latch from your stock hatch onto that one.

dude, wish i could be stuntin down the streets with a carbon hatch...if you can't transfer the latch, get some m00gen trunk latches..major bling blang.

I thought VIS hoods are supposed to have latches? You may wanna call them and ask...
All the hoods I have seen so far have latches from them...

 

errr this is a hatch.....

I think it's a bit different.... but I know somebody with a CF hatch and I know for a fact they had to transfer the stock one over....

fit was so so..... I was more unimpressed with the checker board weave.....anybody notice how tight JDM weaves usually are?

Looks kinda odd cuz it's a different kinda carbon vs. the JDM stuff he's got

I wouldn't want to keep posting pics of my car in this thread since it's not an ITR.

I paid $489shipped for mine, but it might be more for the ITR. My friend ordered a deck lid for his Accord that was pretty similarly priced. His fit pretty close to perfect, however mine had SEVERAL flaws.

From what I have seen, the VIS cf hatches on the integra don't fit perfectly.

 

wow, thats a good deal. all the hatches ive seen were around 499 + shipping...which i assume is pretty expensive given the size of the box it would have to be sent in.

btw, did you buy yours from a shop or from someone online?

The only CF part I've ever seen that fit as good as a stock part was my old Spoon duckbill.

On this hatch though it looks like a hole might be needed to be able to put the latch in there. PM NiceDC2R, he has a CF hatch on his ITR.

With or without the glass? On a DC2, most of the weight of the hatch is the glass, isn't it?

The carbon fiber hood that went on the BB was significantly lighter than the metal bonnet.

 

Without glass-

I owned a VIS hood and it was at least 20 some off pounds
I sold it, got a BKNW and it might be 10 pounds.


ViS just keeps spraying clear coat on until it looks good, there weave is shitty

 

for hood i heard good things about fiber image i will get from fiber image..not VIS
