What springs do you have? Are you talking about going higher than stock or just back to stock? I know lots of ppl that drive in winter (up here in Canada with lotsa snow) with HR sports & Koni Yellows through winter. Just don't go slamming into a snow bank head first and you'll be ok.
Me personally, I go back to stock suspension for winter.

TO be honest, I would have went with a Coilover system to begin with. You wouldnt have run into this problem. Look into investing into a Coilover system. Hope you can figure out your problem.

Just get a set of winter tires and get them in a really high profile. My summers are the stock (98) tires of 205-50-16s, and I'm ordering winter 205-60-16s, its not a lot, but 1/2 inch will help a ton if you're cruising in snow and trying not to float.

I drove THAT car in Rochester, NY winters for 4 years. (((('-_-)
The first 2 winters (99-00, 00-01) at stock height, and raced winter SCCA TSD Road Rally, and then the rest lowered. No prob.

Yeah, pulling your lip for the winter is probably the most economical option. You might be able to gain a half inch to an inch of clearance by using larger diameter winter tires - but it will throw your speedo off some.
And if you were to go to an adjustable suspension, not only would it cost money to buy & install it, but you'd need to get an alignment every time you raise or lower it so you don't chew up your tires.
