Default Skunk2 racing chips

Just recently got the Skunk2 ECU chip for my 1995 Civic EX. Comes with 2 chips, some resistors, and a "jumper" piece of wire.

Luckilly, I know a compitent solderer that will use heat-sinks to protect the chips and what not. My soldering skills are too basic, and I'd probably glob hot solder all over the board.

A few questions:

1) Is the board multi-layered?
2) Where is the darn thing located? I believe it's somewhere in the passenger wheel well?
3) Can it be easilly removed?
4) Currently, I do not notice any "VTEC" power sugre at any RPM. Has anyone installed this Skunk2 chip setup? Any good results?

2) I'm guessing underneath the carpet if it's same as CRX
3) I'm guessing 4 bolts holding cover and then unplug plugs if same as CRX
