I have the form sitting on my desk fully filled out, I just need to get the cash....soon...oh so soon....

 

Well... It's first come, first served. If the event reaches capacity on March 1, then you may be SOL if you send yours in on March 10. If the event doesn't reach capacity by then, you would be okay.

According to the event website, if the event isn't full by April 12, then it might be opened up to other non-ITR cars after that, which means that it would probably fill up at that point.

Bottom line: If you want to be sure to get into the event, send it as soon as you possibly can.

I sent mine in when the form came out. I don't want to take any chances that I might miss the biggest ITR event of the year. I'll be there!

 

when is it again? forget what day its on. wondering if it conflicts w/ school..

Ross, ... I see in my crystal ball ... that the Memorial Day weekend you (and the rest of us) will be in South Haven/Gingerman.

damn that track looks crazy!

i'm debating whether to attend or not, however i must admit i feel somewhat intimidated considering i've never been on a track b4 (besides 1/4)

Not a problem!
We were all beginners at one time or another, and I'm positive you won't be the only beginner there.

I've never been to that track, but it seems to have relatively gentle curves, and I've been told you can basicly drive it using only one or two gears most of the way around.

This is not a race, we just want to get together, check out each other and our cars, and go out and "play" on the track.

P.S. We need more Canadians! Whoohooo! and INTERNATIONAL ITR meet!!! (bring some of that good beer)!!

The track is VERY safe. The only wall that is anywhere near the track is on the last turn where you go down the front strait. Gingerman was the first track that I went to and the event ran very smooth. CGI, the goup that we are running this through, is also the same group that I went through for my first event there. Trust me, you will not be the only beginner. I know Albino Dragon and Yellow Dragon are beginners, so don't let that be a deciding issue.

Most of all, I promise that you will have a blast and once you get on a road course, you will say to drag racing

 

Sorry for procrastinating. I've put in for time off work, so count me in. But I spent $2500 on toys recently, and as a new homeowner I just got nailed with my tax assessment, so I'm a little broke at the moment.
