Default Roebling videos

As promised, here are some clips from last weekends Southeast Honda Challenge event. (They range in size from 7 to 15 megs.) Courtesy of the Delta Group Motorposrts website. All videos are here: http://www.deltagroupmotorsports.com/videos/hracer

First one is of a clean lap and a half around Roebling taken from the last few minutes of the qualifying session. File name is RRteggylap.wmv.

These are the first two laps of the race. At the start, just for kicks I wanted to see if a 2480 lbs car really can outbrake an SRF. Gota watch for the answer. File name is RRstart5.wmv

Next clip comes about 4-5 laps from the finish and it was time to give that blue Civic a little go here and there. File name is RRchadlap.wmv

Finally, this is the last lap of the race. File name is RRlastlap.wmv

It was a fun weekend, and looking forward to some more Honda Challenge races next year!

Glad people are enjoying the clips. Now that I got this wmv encoder working, I hope to make some more videos in the future, including some from our next race in November.

Sorry I should have stated this initially. Car is an ITA 2ng gen Integra, which also runs in H4 for the Honda Challenge. Engine is the b18b, and we're only allowed by the rules to change the FD on the transmission, so we can't do anything else about the drop in rpms in between shifts. And although it's definitely not in the same league as a strong H1 car on the straights as seen in the videos, it does do ok against other A or H4 cars.

ITACelica, I swear that I was flooring it on the straights and unleashing all that torque!

awesome vids...I'm getting an LS motor in my hatch this week and i'll be doing some HPDE events. I was amazed how well you kept the line, a couple of your exits were a little sketchy but most of it was good.

Nice vids! What final drive are you using in your car? Are you going to the ARRC in November?

Know anything about that blue SI? Was it just a stock motor? He seemed to be understeering pretty badly into most of those corners.

Mark, the car is on the stock FD and it's working well for us. Will definitely be there in November. DarkKnight, I am not familiar with the setup on the Civic. All I know is that it had good power on the straights, and once they get it up to speed in the corners it should be one fast car.

That's for sure. I wouldn't expect them to pull that well with a stock B16.

blue si....my car....

yes it was understeering PIG.....any throttle and it would just PUSH....looking for 1100lb spring for the rear....maybe 1200....not sure yet....

car is fast in the straights....i was NOT pushing the car in the turns cause we needed the win for the championship....throttle steering still would not get the car to rotate at all!!!
