Anybody have energy suspension motor mount inserts?
I got these things A long time ago and put in the two side ones but not the rear because it was too hard to get at. I'm put it in now but thats because I pulled the motor to rebuild it. But my Question is Did it make your car(wheel, shifter.etc) shake alot during idle?
mine doesnt shake at all till the idle gets down below 1000, above that, feels the same as before.....and yea the steering wheel just vibrates a little and the dash makes some noise, but nothing bad...

You get so used to it after a while that you think that cars without them don't have motors and run solely on hopes and dreams.
on a related note.....will these increased vibrations possibly cause bolts to just loosen up ?
not tryin to jack ur thread 95Jdmgeezer just figured it might be interesting to talk about this since its related. anyways, i have inserts as well, my car doesn't shake but it does vibrate. mainly above 4k rpm. but i have noticed that on occasion a couple of bolts have come loose. (1-bolt on top of tranny, 1-on rear mount, 1-front mount, 1-ground on tranny). i am very meticulous about tightening bolts down, so the increased vibrations are the only thing i can attribute to the bolts loosening up.

Me too hit that one on the button. Car felt much better though using them.

Mine have been in for about 4 years and have not had any problems with bolts loosening up.

i torque em to spec.
its probably the engine/tranny i bought(condition unknown). a couple months back one of the side engine mount bolts snapped and when i pulled the motor we realized it had previously been helicoiled
. So i suspect that the motor/tranny i have, have been thru some kind of abuse i guess i dunno. And with the particular bolts that are coming loose(rear mount, tranny mount, front mount) it just makes me uneasy to have the inserts i guess. But its just a pita to remove.
