Default 90 msi to 88 crx swap

i just got a 88 crx dx and am swapping a 90 civic si 1.6 non v tech into it..due to the mpfi on the engine i am gonna ahve to paya shop to re wire the ecu and stuff for me.they are gonna charge me 275.00 my question is that too much to pay..this is my 1st import project so i am new to this completley.

use the search function. read. read some more. this is something you can do yourself. 275.00? **** that.

wow 250... if they know what they are doing it shouldn't be that much. But then again if you haven't done anything like this before it might be a little confusing. I hope you got the SI ECU and the injector resistor box, which is located on the driverside firewall, in the corner on the si . Then You use some of your DX ECU and some wires from the SI ECU. There are tons of write ups on the mpfi conversion. If you read enough, and learn you can prob do it yourself. but otherwise i guess 250 isn't all that bad, but still pretty high just for a wiring job :/

The first time i did my swap, i never did ECU wiring, but i read allot, and learned. And had no snags. ^_^
