Car got stolen, recoveredm need new ignition lock now.
Alright well my 95 accord got stolen as i mentioned in this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1003035
It was found at a hotel parking lot.
But now i need a new igntion lock assmebly since it was poped out. I still have the lock itself, but im wondering how much should it cost to get it fixed. Theres also an electrical board which im guessing goes with the lock, and that got cracked.
Thanks

Well , the bolts on a 90 are not accessable (you might need a tool) the way i changed mine , i removed the steering wheel and removed the whole steering assemby and bashed the f'n thing with a hammer untill it came off and replaced it with a new one.
have fun
{im assumeing that just the lock is off so now you could just start it with a butter knife if you want!}

Yea i use a screw driver to start it now. There was actually a butter knife left in the car when i got it.
Anyway yea the lock is poped out, the plastic coloum is cracked a little, and that electric board is broken to. How much are the parts for that? Do i need to buy the whole assembly which is like $130 ?

it's real simple. The old lock assembly has to come out, there are two blank bolts that hold it in. You can either drill them out or use some thing to cut the head off(air hammer, grinder). Make sure that all the wires are disconnected and that the battery is undone first(don't want the bag going off). The new assemble uses breakaway bolts. Re-connect the wires and your done.
