So I am about $27,000 into my car and may want to sell... Am I screwed or where would I best be able to sell this car? Make no mistake... This car is SICK!!! The car looks sweet, engine is fully built, PT67 turbo, msd, full race headers (I kept the A/C!) 3" ic piping and turbo back exaust. Hondata dyno tuned makes 360 max whp at 12 psi on pump gas. Hi boost tune scheduled for next week... I will probably post pics and all on here soon I am new to this. Soo clean! Phantom Motorsports of SLC UT is the best! Also has tein super street dampener suspension, VIS carbon fiber hood, & other decorations...
So should I go ahead and n20 it and call the magazines or sell and start over with a supra? The thing is I hate waiting for it in the shop and don't really want an ongoing project anymore... I just want to drive... The shop wants to put lsd, nitrous, slicks, scattersheild, roll cage,

well you can own the streets with a supra, but you are going to end up in the same
situation you are in now, it will be even more of a money pit, it will spend long weeks in the shop, so in the end you will have RWD instead of FWD is say love the
teg, keep it!

 

Is the supra stock or does the supra have **** done. IMO even a lesser car is better (not sayin the teg is lesser. Just slower stock) if it fixed up. Sounds like you got a bad *** setup on your teg. Keep the TEG man

Sounds nice, need pics tho. If your not into starting another project I would def stick with the Integra, but if you are up for another one, get the Supra.

I know I could spend 27,000 easily on a car. Not that hard.

 

Hey your post almost sounds like a sales discription...could it be? Anyway the car sounds bad ***.

 

Just keep it. You will never get the money that u put into the car. And from what u describe it sounds like a sweet car.

my friend just had a 25k EK stolen and it was show and it was turbo'ed either.

i guess it just comes down how you price things

 

27k is easy...especially if you include the price of the car...plenty of people could spend it in a second

3k, engine build
2k, tranny build
3-4k turbo parts
1k, tuning
1k, suspension
probably another 1k in his 'decorations

thats 10-11 there..using conservative estimates

plus the price of the car..

27 is easy

 

if you got 15k for the car id be suprised. keep it, show it, race it. do what you wish but enjoy it. you spent a ton of monry doing what you love, now enjoy it. ill never understand people who build something then sell it a month later. enjoy what you have there and have fun with it. thats my 2 cents.

i agree with everybody else... keep the teg and win races or shows.. it sounds like u put in a lot of time as well as money. and with 360 whp is damn good congrats on your accomplishments

Get it into a magazine and have them mention that it's for sale. That's better advertising than AutoTrader or Honda-Tech could offer.

I know the feeling. My dream car is and was a targa supra with sick numbers and looks. But being poor I settled for an integra. Now here I am with 50,000 into mine and know I'll never see that back out of it. I still think of a supra but also think about how many hours I had to work just to get what I got and how many more I would have to work to finish a supra. Everything for it is three times as much.
