carbon fiber hatch
mad? tite? no but it is a good way to take some weight off the back VIS makes good stuff, but the gaps are going to be a little wider between the hatch and rear quarter

wow.
this has to be one of the most ignorant posts i've seen today.
flexlite is the curved version (more oem look/ease of installation) of flex-a-lite corporation's lexan-type (similar to plexiglass, if you will) windows. INSANELY lighter than glass, and insanely unbreakable. They'll still crack, but it takes some work. the downside, however, is that they scratch very easily and are high-maintenance. many members have them. i doubt i'll go that far.

You can't tint the lexan Flex-a-lite window. The tint releases gases that *** the window up because it is mainly a plastic....

There is also speedglass. It is like lexan which is like plex-i-glass. It can be tinted. lexan and other window are legal with the exception of the front windshield.

The adhesive does. Ever peeled tint off of a window? It STINKS to high heaven!
If you want to get a CF hatch because it's m4d t|t3 y0
please go spend your money on something more productive. They look like total @$$ unpainted. If you're doing to actually save weight, you really should get the replacement window, because that's where MOST of the weight is. The CF hatch itself won't make that much difference.
