daytime driving lights
DRLs should notbe run at full power. Thats blidning to oncomming traffic, even during the day. You want between 60 and 80%, which means either finding a way to reduce the voltage, or providing a square wave instead of constant voltage. 12V 12 ms (more or less) square wave. There are aftermarket modules that provide the reduced power for adding DRL to cars, but please don't just run with your high beams on at full power all the time.
just run your low beams. i thought most daytime running lights were lowbeams anyways. you don't need to buy anything unless you don't have wire lying around. just run the lowbeams off the ignition circuit.
There's no point in purposefully wiring DRLs unless your on a two lane road or it's raining during the day.
