Default Final Decision: Boost till I Die

Everyone in this forum has been very supportive but I'm tired of trying to get by with 150-160 hp daily barely surviving vicious encounter from most RSX's and Integra's on the road. The engine I'm in the process of building is a D16Z6
I'm building a SOHC D16Z6 because everywhere I turn I see B-Series engines. I like doing **** different, especially when it comes to cars.

Greddy Turbo Kit
Piston and Rods(low compression) brand still undecided
VAFC
Turbo Timer
Fidanza Drive Axles
New high-temp gaskets
Intercooler
Headers 4-1
pulley kit
lightened crank pulley
Stage 3 clutch and lightened flywheel
new block sleeves and gaurd
ECU Chipped with Mugen Performance Chip
New Intake Manifold
Cold Air Intake
new bearings
Skunks2Racing turbo camshaft

I think thats about it. This is a gradual project that will take time. If anyone has any suggestions to help fuel my crazy motives, now is the time. All going into a 93 Civic chassis.

Yeah change that Header to a turbo manifold my friend, you might wanna check out fullrace.com they have some pretty good kits, but a little on the expensive side, although if your looking for big power gains with your turbo go with a equal length manifold!!

Greddy Turbo Kit
Headers 4-1
ECU Chipped with Mugen Performance Chip
VAFC

The mugen programs I have seen are usually alot of timing not good for turbo, doesnt the greddy kit come with an emanage? A header is for an allmotor or supercharged honda headerS are for v-8 v-6 v-10 etc TURBO MANIFOLDS are for turbo cars and the vafc if you have an emange what do you need the vafc for? Correct me if any of this is wrong guys

SPEND THAT MONEY ON A BETTER ENGINE YOU IDIOT!

Lets say you spend $4000 on your AMAZING set up and its fast mabye 230hp fast.
Its still a SOHC non VTEC engine.

Or you could spend $600 on a LS set up then you have TQ. Get some low compression pistons and eagle rods, turbo that bitch for about $1300.

$1900 And your already faster, and you have torque!

P.s. READING AND searching is your friend!

i guess a turbo manifold would be 4-1... four runners into one hole for the turbo. i don't think thats how he meant it though

Don't knock the VAFC, it's good for the money.

Some of you guys have heard of a Mugen turbo kit right??
It uses a stock exhaust header.

Here is a pic.

This is my first Honda but I grew up working on and around Mazda's and Nissan's. I don't take **** from anyone. The 4-1 header was a grammatic mistake made on my part. When you think NooB, think of someone who doesn't own a tool pan at 17. The reason I'm building a SOHC VTEC D16Z6 is to set myself apart from other people where I live because most of them have never been opposed from a different approach. My goal is 200hp+ so I'm going to need help not bullshit.
