so i think my clutch fork popped out of place, i drove my car the other day and it ran fine, the next day i would not go into gear, and the clutch resivoir levels are fine. if that is the case do i need a new fork? or was it a freak accident?

Have you forking tried to rule out all forking things such as the forking bushings, the forking linkage and the forking fork? Have you checked if the fork is forking engaging? Fork man...do some troubleshooting.

did you fork with any of the bolts besides the trans housing bolts? one bolt in there if not properly aligned can block you out of gears

I haven't taken my Civic tranny off yet so I'm exactly sure what it looks like but I assume it's relatively the same as my Accord tranny. If so, there is a fork that pushes the throwout bearing onto the diaphragm of the pressure plate when you press on the clutch pedal. Is this the fork you are saying is fine? If so, have you checked the shift forks inside the tranny?
