205-50-15 bfg comp t/a drag radials
225-50-15 bfg comp t/a drag radials

the 225's would be great, but they will bulge a bit.

the 205's would be shorter overall, which would help your gearing - with the narrow wheel, the difference in contact patch might be small enough to justify the narrower / shorter tire.

What up bro. What mods you got done to your toy? What power are you making? ANd i think you should be able to pull some good 60fts on 225s. Give it a shot.

Awsome, and dont forget to warm up those Drag rads real good. Giving them a good burn out. Also on BFGs when the tire tread goes away it doesnt mean they are bad. They just turn into somewhat form of slicks.

the 205's will give you a smaller od, and will give you a slight advantage when it comes to acceleration, but the 225's will give you a wider contact patch, and that will help you with your off-the-line traction...

my 4th gen weighs about 2600 lbs and puts down about 185 hp. i pull 1.9's all day with my 22" mt et drags, and the et drags are a full slick. back when i was running drag radials, the best i could pull off was a 2.1. as the drag radials got older, my 60 ft times also declined...

Don't worry I run them on my Supra TT, so i'm very familiar with em...

Xbstd23X
See any difference in MPH after switching to the bigger tire?

ALTERED4
What mods you got, your ETs look wonderful. Which would you recommend, the smalled Od or the wider patch? I wanna be able to hook but at the same time, no loose MPH. Back when I had my 5G Vtec and was launching at 5k, I would pull consistent 2.0s with Nitto DRS. (205-55-15)

regards.

225/50/15 BFG, G-force T/A drag radials are the best tire next to slicks I have came across 1.972 60.ft with about 14PSI just my 2cents . G-force T/A have much softer compound, if its used only when racing and not driven on daily you would get your best results I have found.

Sorry I dont put out my et's on the car. I stopped street racing now for a while but there is a jackass pissing me off with a turbo prelude thats goes 13.20's or so on slicks. It's no secret thats the old setup stock j.spec I/H/E high flow cat V-AFC dry shot of zex has been 12's on drag's (thanks to jinxproof now everbody knows ) But thats about all i'll give out.

I am doing a new setup now that will hopefully rank me as the fastest street legal prelude next season. #'s and dyno will be posted for that car and video's also thats if the motor gets finished anytime soon in Texas

Thanks you to. Another traction tip that works for me if your using the bottle dont rev up so high roll out slow and let the bottle pull the car it already has enuff power, If you can master that you almost pull any fwd out of the hole atleast on the street with g-force t/a. Whts your setup? Track car or street car?
