Lip - Where did you get the mini? Or is it forsale?
I was thinking about picking one up. A friend of mine had one for sale for $5000 bucks. Red with white top. Great condition. I'd like to get into the vintage racing scene with either a mini or a 510 or a 71-ish 240z.
Dunno yet...... parts are so cheap .... especially at the carlile swap meets.

 

Yeah alot of people are MIA, of course if you check out the classifieds area there is a new ITR for sale every week

 

i had it shipped from the UK to Baltimore MD recently. From asking many many questions this may be a mini that shouldn't be torn apart. It has a bit too much vintage stuff on it...and its far to close to being a vintage/historic racer to break up. I just began asking around for trades and or sell it. I mean..its fine for me to use..but would be a shame to take apart a MK1 62' mini caged and all

it looks like we're trying to get a few sessions in at dromo1 with the EC kidd0z lanceh, el pollo diablo, and cheeseman, as well as myself, aoigsr, and of course the y-kidd0, if they can make it. it's kind of a expo '01 return trip thingie since a few of them ec kidd0z had to use some free six flags magic mountain passes and frequent flyer mileage before the year end, and they'll be once again (matt, for the first time!) experiencing my beautiful blue carpeted floors. (:

anybody else who wants to do it up at dromo1 on friday night, we'll see you there!

...and i think it's *someone's* birthday pretty soon,...but i forget who.

ralph seems happy to have a EC mini partner in crime over there, lip...we're all getting jealous of his mini skillz learning...heh.

How are things? What are you up to these days?

Yah, I pretty much stopped hanging out around here after the Expo in CA. At that time there was a crack down going on with the OT topics, I was in ITR burnout, and I switched jobs to something that doesnt allow me much WWW time.

..Plus I bought a Mini. Had it shipped from Southampton UK! Most of my car time (and money) has been redirected to rehabbing my tiny red car. These things are soo cool! Coo enough that Lip got one too! huhu!

But I do still yap with Yoshi, kelly, El Pollo, and lance on a daily basis... Though Integras are hardly ever the topics of choice...n e more...

btw, Nick...my Mini came in at less than $5k.....if you want a Mini, send me an email. I have some good connections in the UK and may be able to help.

Deftones are great...haven't seen them in like 3 years though...like to see them in small venues, Stone Pony in NJ was the best show...been to like 5 or 6 of their shows...
