Default obd II to obd I conversion question

I have been searching for a while and I cant find enough information. I have heard of people using the p28 with hondata and have found good results. my car does not have vtec and was wondering if i can still use this ecu or do i have to use another one?

i think i am confused about how this conversion works, is there anyone with experience with this that can explain the process?

unless u are planning on boosting or swapping there is no need to run any kind of ecu upgrade on an f series
