will a p73 ECU work with B16a2???

Default will a p73 ECU work with B16a2???

if i put a p73 ECU in my 00 Si will it help or hurt my performance anything will help

It will engage VTEC too late and raise the fuel cut, which could potentially be dangerous. It also will not have the proper curves for B16A cams.

I agree that it wouldn't be ideal for the B16 but wouldn't it engage the VTEC to soon (4400 rpm) vs the stock 5400 rpm, rather than to late?

You're thinking of the P72.

Go for it.

Mine ran like a champ with the stock cams. Just don't hold your revs at over 8200 for long if you have stock valvetrain.

My stock numbers with bolt-ons and ITR ecu with V-AFC tuning was 148 whp and 102 ft.-lbs.

But whoever stated previously about dumping alot of fuel in is correct. Definitely get something to tune with, then go to the dyno.

I think the P73 is real close timing wise and vtec to a P30 but the revlimit is higher and also it would dump more fuel as I was saying cause of the displacement of the ITR motor and also the cams
