hi, i have a 95 accord coupe with a H22a in, just wondering wat rpm u guys runnig when u are doing about 120 km/h? caz i m sitting a bit lower then 3000?!?!?!, is dat possible? caz i knwo my fd is running 4xxx sth....thx

 

Given that when I'm doing 120KPH (70MPH) in an F22, I'm sitting at 3K or therabouts. Seems right to me.

H22 trannys have much shorter gearing than f22, not sure about 120km but at 80mph im at about 4000 rpm in 5th gear

maybe it's f22 tranny?
or your speedo's shot, or vss.

 

I dont think it could have a f22 tranny in it im almost positive of that but you could need a new VSS (vehicle speed sendor) or the speedo is just messed all my friends tell me that my cars speedo never matches theirs and i just replaced my vss less then a year ago

 

hey i havent hit a revlimiter on my h22a i try not to take it past 7500 but it has gone to 7800 almost 8000 before should it be doing this or not? i am afraid if i mis shift or something i am going to blow the motor which would suck becasue i just got the damn car running 4 monts ago after sitting for 13 monthes. any help would be appricated.

 

NO WORRIES... your not alone. At just 60mph, I'm reving at 2.8-3k 70mph is about 3.6k. Thats just the way the H22 trans works.

 

So a 93 accord lx is more than 2600 lbs.

 

i have an h22 and the ******** at usedengines.com sent me an f22 tranny, and shop installed not knowing the dif - hoping they'll fix the issue..

but its an h22a1 with f22 tranny, it ******* SUCKS! Its honestly..slow as ****. My gas milage isnt even as good as I thought it'd be because theres no good gear for certain speeds and I guess I end up giving it more gas at times..who knows - cars probably entirely fucked over anyway.

Check transmission codes! They're listed on h-t defffinately. I did the same to come to the conclusion that usedengines.com fucked up..
