name of b16 tranny?
Im going to get a b16 tranny for my 2000 ls with a ls/vtec swap. But I dont know the exact name of the tranny to look for it. If you guys could help me out I'd appreciate it thanks!
That's exactly what you call it.
A hydro (hydraulic) B16 tranny. Or a B16A tranny. Or a Si tranny. Anything works.
It'll be from a Honda Civic Si.

I assume you are after the gearbox codes. Hope this helps:

hey I dont know if you would know this but I have a question about my 93 Integra Ls with the JDM B16A swap, the stock LS tranny and a short shifter. when Im reving it up and go to shift at 8000 or 7500 rpms It won't shift it properly and I dont know why? and its not even at redline. Redline is 8200rpms. Im guessing its because the ls tranny's gears are father apart than the B16 tranny gears. the short shifter needs to shift quicker so it would maybe make sense that it needs shorter gear rations?? Anyways if you can awnser my question it would be very helpfull.
