I have been trying to sell my integra. well, its been sitting in front of my dads shop along with a caravan that my dad is selling, and today the van got t-boned by 4 hispanics in a buick. it hit the van so hard that it slammed the van into my car and pushed my car about 25 feet sideways and slid the van about 15 feet. the van is beyond totaled, and im pretty sure that my car will be totaled. the shitty part is that neither car of ours was insered because they were for sale, and the guy driving the buick said he doesnt have insurance, but were not sure because he can barely speak and the car is registered in Illinois. To say the least im very pissed and its going to be very hard and a long task to get my money out of the car.

im not going to get any money if i sue and they dont have insurance, their migrant farm workers that were on their way home form picking potatoes and passed out while driving.

being from chicago, IL, I know for sure that they must be insured, so you might be able to take them to court to get the money that would replace the car.

i hope you the best of luck in getting the most amount of money you can out of it. I'd want to sue those guys, but like you said they're basically dirt poor so I don't know if it would really be worth it in the long haul.

Sucks to be in your position man. Everybody hates accidents, having to deal with all the BS is just mind boggling. Does your dad have insurance through his business that may be able to somehow cover your losses?

4000.00 for the whole car

 

If it were mine id take 4k for it.

I paid 5k for my 94 and its got 90k miles on it
