suspension, anyone have adjustable coilovers, the kind that thread up or down??
hey guys, i just bought bomz adjustable coilovers and kyb shocks. problem is, i have no idea how to install. is this hard to do, i know i need a spring compressoer and everything, but the question is, should i trade it in and the shocks and go with the kyb five way adjustable shocks??? is it easier to adjust ride hiegth with the coilovers or the shocks. seemd like it would be a pain in the *** turnin the wrech fifty times just to drop an inch and a half. any advice, opinions, and info is appreciated. thanks, ride low but stay off the curb.
Changing the dampers won't effect your ability or inability to adjust the ride height. Also, it doesn't take much of a rotation to adjust the ride height unless you're going to move it 3" every other day. I move mine in 0.5" increments and it's only a couple of turns. As for the install, I'm sure there's a how-to somewhere on HT in the archives. You only need the spring compressor to take apart the OEM suspension, and even then you can use the weight of the car.
