Default strange coolant leak '87

a small [1/4" id.] hose to the head under the intake is pouring coolant out I think. It seems to be connected to another hose under the intake that comes up along the firewall. Should I buy both hoses and try to do the job or have a mech. do it? Why isn't it just 1 hose? Whats the parts cost and what might a mechanic charge thanks in advance.

this hose is not a heater hose it is much smaller, looks like the oil filter has to come out to see clearly.

There is a coolant hose that goes to the throttle body. This is probably what you are talking about. Just replace it yourself.
