Default 88 accord sunroof problem

The sunroof opened then will not shut. the switch seems good, you close/open the battery contactors under the passenger seat click but the sunroof doesn't do anything. anyone got any ideas?

Probably the motor is burnt out. You'd have to pull the headliner to test it and see if it's getting power or not. For now though to get it closed, look in your trunk for the little bag of tools that go with the jack, there's a little piece in there that's for manually closing the sunroof. Then just pop that little round piece out of the headliner and crank it closed with that tool.

I agree w/ Jared.
I had to change my motor completely...my 4 drain holes were clogged and the motor rusted out. You have to take out the headliner to do the job.
Remember to flush all 4 drain holes while liner is off.
