Default hood pins or hood locks?

which are better? the hood locks are more sleek with 2 keys so no one can tamper with your e-bay, but with hood pins, you dont have to wor about losing the key what would some of you go with?

How about you put your hoodkey with your car key you know so if you lose one you dont have to bother with the other one.

The locks are not that big at all. I painted the plate black.

the ones that do have locks, do you have OEM style hoods with the hook?

Acutally if you read the packaging on certain brands they say they're not meant to scure the hood as a replacement for hood pins or a latch.

What about with no latch. I have pins on a crap hood with no latch. Would it matter if i put on key locks in stead of just pins? once again i have no latch with battered stock hood.

Just Make sure you get the springs and retainers or your hood could go flying. LOL

Its one key for all the locks, and like I said theyre not meant to replace hood pins OR a latch, if you read the instructions on some of them they explicitly state this.
